Boswellsports.com is searching for sponsors to advertise their business with us again this season.

In our first year of broadcasting we logged over 9,000 visitors to our site and were featured on Fox news and in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

What is Boswellsports.com?

We are a full featured web presence dedicated to promoting the student athletes at W.E. Boswell High School.  We offer live broadcasts of football, basketball and baseball over the internet.  We also provide the Pioneer sports fan with game articles, statistics, district information, action photos, and much more.

Why do we do it?

Many of our local media outlets are unable or unwilling to cover the Boswell Pioneers.  These student athletes work hard in sometimes very harsh conditions simply for the love of the game.  It is our belief that they deserve a voice in our community.

Is this just another sports entity trying to capitalize on the popularity of Texas High School football?

No, we are a small group of volunteers. Boswellsports.com is a non- profit organization.  The proceeds of your sponsorship go towards the purchase of broadcasting equipment.  Any residuals gained during the broadcast season go directly towards the Boswellsports.com Scholarship Fund awarded at the end of the year. That is why our rates are so affordable.

What do you receive from your sponsorship?

With your paid sponsorship you will receive a minimum of two 30 second ads during each event to include the Coach Abendschan Show.  You will also get an ad on our website.  We use a rotating format centralized on the front page and print ads throughout the site.  We are very versatile in what we can do.  Want to advertise a special service or product, no problem, let us know what you want advertised.

During the live broadcast we use either still imagery with voice over commercials or pre-recorded video ads.

Is it only play by play and color commentary during the live broadcast?

No, we are very creative in our approach. During football season we begin the week with the Tuesday night Coach Abendschan Show.  This hour and a half presentation features funny bits and video.  Serious sports talk is also a part of the agenda as we talk about the team with the Pioneers head coach John Abendschan.   We conduct live interviews with Coaching staff, players, alumni and special guests associated with the team.  We play audience participation games with the Coach as well. We also offer a call in line for our listeners.

On game night we start the show with a pregame presentation.  We have the ability to conduct man on the street type interviews using wireless technology.  Our three man team brings our audience all the play-by-play action in vivid detail. We offer the listener stats from the game and scores from around the district.   During half-time we conduct live interviews with former players, coaches, and staff members.  This is not your typical high school broadcast.  We finish the game with in depth post game analysis.

Who is our target audience?

Anyone interested in the Boswell Pioneers.  Our listeners come from all over the world. We have logged visitors from as far away as Iraq and Afghanistan as parents and alumni in our armed forces tune in. We also provide a bit of “home” for alumni who have gone off to college. We also cater to parents, friends, family and fans that can’t make it out to the stadium.  We have a large following right here in north Texas!

We have set the standard in the growing field of internet broadcasting.

As a direct result of our program, several school districts have begun broadcasting programs of their own this year.  Alvarado High School and Springtown ISD just to name a few.

What is the cost?

As you probably know advertising is not cheap. Most media outlets charge hundreds and even thousands of dollars. If you have priced a newspaper ad you know what I mean.  Our service is only $100.00 for the entire school year!  Why, because we are not in it for the money.   Your sponsorship helps us with operating costs and funds our annual scholarship.  We feel like your support gives us credibility!
